Working in house for a global welfare charity, within the regular giving and direct marketing team.
The regular giving and direct marketing teams are responsible for inspiring thousands of people to support the charity through face-to-face, print, digital and broadcast media, and developing and deepening those relationships through telephone, mail and legacy communications. The charity is looking for someone who can put their skills and experience to use quickly, setting up and managing fundraising campaigns through face-to-face and DRTV from start to finish. You will have knowledge of direct marketing, ideally face-to-face fundraising, experience of managing supplier relationships, and excellent numerical skills. You will be proactive, flexible and able to plan and complete your varied and busy workload independently.
Purpose of the role To develop and implement a selection of campaigns to generate new regular givers through a variety of media, but primarily through face-to-face, managing operational aspects of campaign planning and execution.
Main responsibilities To operationally manage the day-to-day development and execution of regular giving campaigns from beginning to end to generate new donors, primarily focusing on face-to-face. To manage project schedules and any day-to day-queries To set up new campaigns and manage existing activity To develop fundraising messages and new fundraising materials. To manage relationships with external agencies, such as professional fundraising organisations.
