Events Innovation Executive

Are you enthusiastic about fundraising innovation?

Working for a national health charity, as Innovation Executive you will play an important part in helping the charity achieve growth of income through the development and delivery of new mass participation events fundraising products and the identification and exploitation of new technologies.

You will have good working knowledge of fundraising, data analysis, and audience identification and development. You will support the Innovation Manager in product development and continuous improvement from the gathering of insights, to idea generation and filtration, proposition design, prototyping, testing and piloting, and monitoring and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on the development of the innovation strategy, implementation and delivery of the innovation pipeline.
  • Develop a culture of test-and-learn trial, analysis and optimisation. Work with teams to execute this strategy.
  • Work closely with the insight team to gather high-quality, actionable insights that can be translated into improvements for existing products and into opportunities for new product development.
  • Work closely with the Communications team to provide exciting, creative and engaging marketing materials and appropriate PR support.
  • Work on the evaluation of current products, including analysing the core proposition of the product, assessing the efficacy of specific marketing channels, and evaluating the overall performance of the products.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Excellent project management skills, able to deliver cross organisational projects on time and to budget.
  • Creative and innovative with strategic analysis skills - able to assess opportunities, understand commercial impact and make decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in large and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising methodology.
  • Strong awareness of, and ability to use, innovation and new product development techniques.
