The role of the in-house Campaign Manager is to oversee and lead direction of Sense Scotland's In-house Face to Face fundraising programme. This is a new programme launched in 2016, which plays a key part in the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy. Sense Scotland's vision is to create a focused, committed in-house team of face to face fundraisers. Our fundraisers are part of our existing fundraising team and as such leadership and a positive, open and supportive culture is important to us.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day running of the in-house Face to Face programme including ensuring daily review of performance and direction of fundraiser, open discussion around challenges and opportunities, ensuring delivery of key administrative actions including site booking, offering coaching and guidance to team leaders and ensuring coaching and guidance is in place for fundraisers, ensuring relevant data processes are in place and delivered effectively, engaging with regulatory bodies, and ensuring that teams are adequately staffed and resourced and leading on presentation and discussion of performance at Sense Scotland.
This position of Campaign Manager sits within the Donor Care Team. The Donor Care Team has responsibility for acquiring, stewarding and inspiring new supporters for Sense Scotland from individual members of the public. We do so using a wide range of dialogue, direct mail, broadcast and digital media.
By working closely with the Head of Fundraising and other fundraising colleagues, the post-holder will develop and implement a strategy for the in-house operation. The Campaign manager will oversee the growth of the face to face activity, ensuring that the team is fully staffed and trained in line with Sense Scotland Face to Face training programme, motivated and developed.
This requires the post holder to be on call over some bank holidays and weekends. On occasion, interacting with fundraisers and staff in the field to support teams and gain insight into their experience. This may require travel within Scotland as appropriate. This role is based at the Sense Scotland office in Glasgow but it is anticipated the post-holder will also spend significant amounts of time in the field.
